A natural meeting place

Foundations for a flourishing culture.

Lidköping is certainly a place where people can come together. There is a major arena, 30 inviting cafés, a vibrant open-air market and many other places where people can get together for everyday activities or special occasions.

Concerts and plays are performed on the Dina stage in the Stadsträdgården (city garden) featuring local and nationally known performers (Erik Saade shown).

The café culture is alive and well in Lidköping ... not to mention the open-air market.

The old sugar mill is now a community centre off ering, among other things, culture, activities for young people as well as health and wellness activities. This is also home to the Esplanad theatre, which is one of the country’s largest amateur theatre groups.

There are currently 140 different businesses at the Rörstrand Center, a handful of which are carrying on Lidköping’s tradition of fine china. This area is a popular destination for shopping, gastronomic experiences and for visiting the Rörstrand Museum. Davis Cup at the Sparbanken Lidköping Arena.
