The college of ceramics has long been one of the leading colleges in Sweden for courses in ceramics. The design modelling course is the only one of its type. The municipality's own recruitment needs are considerable, and by the year 2010 we will need to recruit a further 1500 employees.

The high school runs several courses with a national intake, including the specially designed Väner course. The floristry course is another very popular course with a large number of applicants each year.
